A few weeks ago, Vince Vaughn and the rest of the cast of upcoming movie Unfinished Business released a series of stock photos to promote their film. The images, made available for free use by companies for a set period of time, are of course every bit as cheesy and unnatural as you'd expect of any stock photo deserving of the title.

Obviously we at DesignCrowd couldn't miss the chance to use these images to refresh some of our favourite brands, so we gave a shout-out to our small army of talented web designers. Our favorite entries from the web design contest can be viewed below.

Particularly the small "Unfinished Business: We're everywhere" song title is a nice touch.

Honorary Mentions

Straightforward, neat and surprisingly appropriate. This one could actually get away with it. Twitter, are you watching?

The visual elements are beautifully integrated here, and the quote is perfect.

It's Apple's own caption that brings this one home. Ironic perfection.

Apple was a particularly popular choice for our designers. Maybe it's the team's strong business image? Or maybe those winning smiles.

"I swear Janet, if you move that table and mess up the document formatting I spent the last five hours tweaking, I'll drown your precious stapler in a pool of honey."

This last company is obviously neither cheesy nor generic, making it the perfect choice for really highlighting the humour of the images via juxtaposition.
