HI-TEC have just posted their 3rd contest for icon design on DesignBay after getting an amazing number and quality of icon designs on their 1st contest submitted to their first project from a truly international design pool including designers from Mongolia, Texas, the UK, Canada and Australia. HI-TEC are a major international brand and one of the first to use crowdsourcing for a major design project. If you haven't already submitted to their 2nd contest (Phase 2) - we've extended it by 24 hours and increased the budget.
Duncan Patmore, Global Head of Marketing and Product for HI-TEC has said:
"Hi-Tec is known in the Footwear business
for a succession of technology based industry firsts and we are delighted that
through Design Bay we have achieved another by being
the first to use a crowdsourcing design model."
Mr Patmore has also said:
"
Crowdsourcing is a brilliant way to pick the creative
brains of a global design team and home in on a solution that is right for you.
"
To big brands: get creativity from around the world and use DesignBay!
To designers: keep up the great work!
To HI-TEC: Thanks!
Alec
