We are proud to unveil the greatest waratah logo ever made* and announce Dustin Crawford (of DustinC Canada) as the winner of our NSW Logo Contest. Unfortunately, but perhaps not surprisingly, the government has yet responded to our offers to donate any of the excellent (and improved) designs submitted by designers to our renegade contest. While Dustin has earnt himself a tidy $1000, it appears there is a <0.02% chance the logo will actually be used. Regardless, this contest has been a success - it has received 306 designs from around the world, been covered on major radio stations in Australia (including the ABC and 2UE) 3 times, applied pressure to the Government and (hopefully) shown a lot of businesses and organisations that they should consider using crowdsroucing (and of course DesignBay)!

It is clear to us that this design, as well as a number of the other designs would have been an improvement on the original Lotus Waratah flower. Well done Dustin. BONUS: check out more flower logos on BrandCrowd!
A big thank you to every one who submitted! I expect some of you will be disappointed (Kanye West style) so let me just say there were tons of fantastic entries and it was difficult to chose a winner. In our eyes "you are all winners" (just kidding, there is only one winner and then lots of other great designs, some of which we've listed below in our Top 20).
